Taylor PTA welcomes parents and incoming 6th graders for the 2024–2025 school year. More details will appear as they become available.
Before the first day of school, your student will:
already passed Attend Taylor Info Night: March 26, 5:30 PM–6:30 PM, Taylor auditorium.
Taylor Info Night will inform parents on the optional Summer Bridge Program and what to expect in 6th grade.Attend Taylor Open House on May 9 at 6 PM. Visit classrooms and talk to teachers.
Pick an elective. More details will appear as they becomes available.
Optionally attend Taylor Summer School Bridge Program:
June 24–July 12, 8:35 AM–12:30 PM. No school on July 4.
Incoming 6th graders will get to experience life as a middle school student and learn the campus in the safety of other incoming 6th graders.
A sign-up email will go out to our 5th grade families soon. Students are expected to attend each day of the Summer Bridge Program or will be dropped at the second absence.
Attend Orientation Day and buy a PE uniform. Date and time to be determined.
Plan to drive your student to Taylor? Designated drop-off zones are:
white zone on Taylor Blvd. in front of school (U-turn and three-point turns not legal here)
parking lot on Taylor Blvd. near the intersection of Minorca Wy., Camino Alto, and Taylor Blvd.
Shea Center’s traffic circle at end of Minorca Wy.
Taylor breakfast and lunches are no cost to all students and no application needed.
First day of Taylor is Thursday, August 15. Starting time to be determined.
